Verne Ordman


Verne Ordman has worked in the training industry for over 27 years. She has a post  graduate degree in Industrial Psychology and has, since achieving this, been committed to providing innovative solutions for employers and clients that provide the results they are looking for.

Verne has worked in Australia, the US and South Africa. Her company, Verne Ordman & Associates Pty Ltd, has been providing training solutions to high profile companies around Australia for over 20 years.

Verne was instrumental in designing the competency based Australian Institute of Training & Development Training Design Award Winning Recruitment Interviewing program. She was also project manager of the team responsible for researching and developing the Modular Training System consisting of 130 three hour training modules in 14 skill development areas.

Over the last 10 years, Verne Ordman & Associates' focus has moved towards consulting, training and personal coaching in all aspects of effective business writing. The Business Writing Programs are well known for their individual focus and well documented results.

In the US, Verne obtained invaluable experience as Training and Development Manager for a national franchise corporation. In addition to designing and implementing management and sales training programs, she had profit and loss responsibility for the four company owned human resource agencies. Her role included providing ongoing consulting to franchisees on all business related matters.

Verne has also worked in the finance industry where she was Regional training Manager for the second largest building society in South Africa.

Wendy Jocum 


Wendy Jocum has been involved in the field of human resources, training and consulting since 1989.  Her areas of corporate training and consulting include business writing skills, leadership/management development, communication, conflict resolution, personal development and effectiveness, time management, training/learning and development,  human resources, and customer service. She also does individual and small group coaching. She has had experience in a wide range of organisations across many industries, both in South Africa and Australia.
 
Her experience extends into the academic/educational field as well. She facilitates training for the Australian College of Applied Psychology, Australian Institute of Management, the Australian Institute of Human Resources, and the University of Sydney (Centre for Continuing Education).
 
Wendy has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in the Management of Human Resources. She also has a Certificate 4 in Assessment and Workplace Training (TAA40104) and a Professional Development Certificate in Executive Coaching.
 
She is a Certified Professional of AHRI, member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD).

 Wendy is passionate about training, learning and development. She believes that her corporate experience combined with her interpersonal/facilitation skills provide positive learning opportunities for all her participants.
